Christmas Decorating

We started our decorating. Liz has reached nadir so it's been pretty low key around here, but the tree and most of the village went up yesterday. Our friend Nic-T from the Cape-B came by to instruct us on proper placement of the lights and our sad little tree looks better than it ever has!

The christmas village is mostly assembled (Maggie's job!) and there are a few bulbs to replace there.

There are wreaths on the doors, etc but the tree and the village are the backbone of our decorations.



What are the lady and the tramp doing in the pet shop? I wonder if THIS pet shop is just where the pets do their shopping. Another possibility: the snowmen having a little meeting below are dog slave traders.

Here we have a water tower with a santa face bridge. This city planner knew what she was doing. Also, note the unique plant life which seems to be growing upside down from the top of the roof.



Last, we'll leave you with the latest white board. This one is a mixed media creation!

election day!

Everyone wore their home made election t-shirts today! unfortunately neither Maggie's peers or Scarlett's peers will have any idea what the shirts mean, but it was fun making them!

My pain in the neck is getting better, and I'm not referring to any election news either. Hurrah!

Sparkly butterfly update: The pink face paint got too smudged and a desperate measure was taken. Let's hope the magic marker designs wash off quickly!

Halloween!

We sure need to get a new camera! This webcam stuff just doesn't cut it when it comes to Halloween and things like that.

As you can see, this Sparkle Fairy Butterfly designed her own costume, and glued the sparkles and glitter flowers onto her dress.
