it's been a while!

kensington market

It was a beautiful day here-- just perfect, not too cool and not too warm. We walked to Kensington market for cheese and had dim sum in Chinatown on the way home. Now Maggie's in bed watching a movie. Pretty great Saturday!


This is inside the Terrence Donnelly building-- right now they have recently cut down the bamboo grove, which will grow up again over the next little while. Cool building!

We had a visit from Bave, Josh's cousin. He's a nice guy. You can tell by his t-shirt.

jobs, stories, dewclaws

Busy week! We celebrated new jobs, celebrated finishing existing contracts, Maggie's hard work with her storytellers club paid off and she was feted at Storyfest 2009. Scarlett tore her dewclaw and had to have it removed, and laid about with her foot elevated feeling sorry for herself.

Dim Sum at the Queen Mother cafe...

Maggie (dressed as a princess) looks unsure about her mussels-- she didn't expect the cream sauce. She did eat every one!

Poor puggy. She milked it for all it was worth-- the little soft cast is off now and she is running around just fine.
