Last weekend was a blast!

We went to visit with Grandma, Papa, Sam, Kate and Oliver!

We had a great visit. We came home to a municipal strike so no garbage removal or daycare. The daycare is inconvenient but we seem to be above the garbage stink for now. I tried to use vacation time to just stay home but my work would prefer me to bring Maggie to work with me. We'll see how that goes! I would like to complain about how it will make me less productive at work, but I can't really justify that after admitting I make clip art family photos during work hours.

Oh, and today was the last day of school! Woohoo!

Uncle Sam introduced Maggie to Guitar Hero:

I love the action shot here. It really sums a lot of things up.

Maggie and Scarlett in the car: please note that this was taken at a rest stop, the car was not in motion and when the car was in motion all children were sitting upright and properly restrained. No children were harmed in the making of this photograph.

My favorite picture of the weekend, starring Oliver's beautiful uvula!

JUST FOR YOU KATE!

The camera battery was dead this morning so instead I recreated what our family would have looked like. I had to use a clip art of a mixed race gay family and recolor it in MS Paint because my resources were limited.

it's been a while!

Here are some pictures from Maggie's birthday, a picture of her octopus research diorama, and a few just around the house.

kensington market

It was a beautiful day here-- just perfect, not too cool and not too warm. We walked to Kensington market for cheese and had dim sum in Chinatown on the way home. Now Maggie's in bed watching a movie. Pretty great Saturday!

This is inside the Terrence Donnelly building-- right now they have recently cut down the bamboo grove, which will grow up again over the next little while. Cool building!
